Study and Tour of Local Galleries

Session Review

Venturing once more into the main city hub of Birmingham. I took a view around various galleries such as Whitehall and the Birmingham Museum in order to observe both the layout of the artwork and study frame size, material etc.

But I also took note of artworks such as the "The Champion" by Sir Charles Lock Eastlake.. (figure B)

Furthermore, the following week I satisfyingly uncovered a local Worcester based business called "The Cabin" who sells frames of all ranges.

Additionally, significant changes have been applied to the crystal angel glass texture. Where I have blended other mental ray textures such as "Glass Thick" with the existing texture in order to create a convincing reflective and translucent crystal.

However, when I attempted to return to the crystal temple and holocron scene in Maya 2015 I faced trouble getting mental ray to render and display my scene during my work on the new Holocron library scene.
