After browsing for more fine art angel references. I discovered one portrait piece in particular that had the tone I was looking for my own crystal angel as displayed in figure a.
Thus, I Created an alternative design for the crystal angel and applied a indigo and midnight tone of colours to the scene and once more took visual references from fine art. (figure b)

The creator of these and other angel paintings, "Abbott Handerson". Served to improve the composition of the angel scene and be creative by experimenting wit different views and light levels.
