Session Notes
Continuing on from my last practise session in Maya, I decided to learn a little more about setting up and manipulating a scene with lights by reading the book "3d Graphics & Animation" by Mark Giambruno (chapter six-page 292-300) which was extremely beneficial by breaking down each type of light and its usage.
However, as I created new lights and correctly positioned my three main lights for a standard three-point lighting system it took an additional three lights to correctly brighten the objects in the rendered image. (figure a)
